Synopsis

Opening video for the "Sword Art Online -FULLDIVE-" event held at Tokyo Garden Theater. The event celebrated a decade of the SAO anime with an original story written by Reki Kawahara, performed as a live voice drama by the series' voice cast. Musical performances from artists who'd worked on the anime's soundtrack throughout the years rounded out the celebration. The animated segment itself depicts the main cast of the Aincrad Arc just before they dive into VR—right at that moment when they put on their NerveGear and log into Sword Art Online for the first time.
