This anime adapts a 1999 radio drama following three girls from completely different worlds. Akari grew up in a religious household and is naturally upbeat and cheerful—she's also a devoted Reika fan. Yuki is a runaway from Hakodate who's working at the venue where Reika's performing. Nozomi comes from a wealthy family in Kobe and has a VIP ticket to the same concert. When all three see Reika's performance, they're so moved by it that they decide to attend Akiba music school together and pursue idol careers themselves.
