Synopsis

Ryou Mizushima stumbles into badminton during junior high when he and his friends casually join the club. He ends up taking it seriously though, practicing hard enough to qualify for the prefectural tournament. When it comes time to pick a high school, he figures he'll just find somewhere local where he can play casually—since nobody good enough to really push him seems available anyway. That changes when a coach from Yokohama Minato High School notices him. The school's got one of the best badminton programs around, plus Kento Yusa, a player Ryou's always looked up to. It takes some convincing, but with his sister's support, Ryou decides to transfer. Now he's got an actual coach helping him improve, and he's determined to eventually surpass Yusa.
