Synopsis

The VENUS Program is an AI-powered ranking system that scores idol candidates based on objective data and algorithms. Every year, the VENUS Grand Prix uses these rankings to identify the industry's next big stars. Mana Nagase stood head and shoulders above every other competitor—until a tragic accident during the finals cut her career short. Years later, Kouhei Makino, Mana's former manager, is now working at Hoshimi Productions. He's looking to put together a new idol group and starts holding auditions. Two candidates catch his attention: Kotono Nagase, Mana's younger sister, who's trying to honor her sister's memory with help from their old advisor, and Sakura Kawasaki, whose voice is nearly identical to Mana's. Both girls make the cut, joining eight other recruits to form a ten-member group. Living together in a dorm, they learn what it takes to work as a cohesive unit. With big dreams pushing them forward, the girls fight their way up through the competitive, cutthroat world of idol entertainment.
