Synopsis

Cheng Ke used to have money and status. Now he's digging through garbage to recover what he's lost. After getting into a heated argument that ends with a punch to the face, he meets Jiang Yuduo—a brutal gang leader who becomes impossible to avoid. Through a series of circumstances, Cheng Ke ends up renting an apartment from Jiang Yuduo. He's hopeless at taking care of himself, so he becomes completely dependent on his new landlord. The two develop an intense, hard-to-define connection. But both men are carrying heavy baggage. Their pasts won't leave them alone, and threats keep closing in from all sides—mysterious people tracking them, gang violence in their neighborhood, enemies determined to destroy them. If they want to survive, they need each other.
