Synopsis

Following the events of Mask of Deception, a ruthless usurper has seized control of the Yamato Empire and rules with an iron grip. Now it falls to some familiar allies to unite against the Imperial army's overwhelming power. As civil war tears through the nations, generals and armies must choose their sides, and the world's fate hangs in the balance. Secrets come to light, bonds are tested, and the fighting intensifies. The question becomes whether anyone can restore peace and order—or if this victory will only pave the way for something worse.
