It's 2010, and on Cat Earth, the megacorp Catty & Co. basically owns everything—they're making up nearly the entire economy and rapidly expanding their reach across the galaxy. Tamala, a sharp-tongued and gorgeous cat, decides to head back to her home planet of Orion. Things go south fast when her ship crash-lands on planet Q, where she runs into Michaelangelo, another cat she immediately starts calling "MoiMoi." Together they venture into Hate City, the planet's capital, which is locked down under martial law to keep the feuding cat and dog populations separated. The whole place is covered in graffiti and has museums dedicated to an old cult called Minerva—stuff that hints at something seriously messed up. When Tamala gets noticed by Kentauros, a psychotic biker type, she and MoiMoi have to bolt. But her past keeps catching up with her. What made her leave Orion in the first place? And how is she connected to Catty & Co.?
