Synopsis

Cherry blossom petals scatter across the courtyard, looking especially ethereal under the moonlight. Kagura wakes and settles into the hallway to watch, thinking to herself that the nighttime courtyard has an almost eerie quality—like anything could happen at any moment. A butterfly drifts past, its wings shimmering with iridescent scales. Kochou no Sei appears and speaks up: "Exactly. The night is perfect for telling stories." Kagura's eyelids grow heavy as a fine dust settles over her. Kochou no Sei smiles, knowing what's about to happen—once Kagura falls asleep, the real story will begin in her dreams.
