Synopsis

Yukito Kunisaki travels from town to town performing puppet shows for money, searching for the Winged Maiden—a legendary figure bound to the sky long ago, based on a story his mother told him as a child. He doesn't plan to stay anywhere long, but that changes when he meets Misuzu, an odd girl who invites him to stick around. As Yukito settles into the quiet town, he builds connections with the locals and starts learning about their problems. Before long, he's putting his search on hold to help them out. The deeper he gets attached to Misuzu and the town itself, the question becomes clear: will he ever find the Winged Maiden, or is she already right in front of him?
