Synopsis

Metal Jacks Synopsis Twenty years in the future, Tokyo has evolved into a cutting-edge metropolis known as Tokyo City. Ken Kanzaki works as an investigator for the Metropolitan Police and happens to be one of their best marksmen. One day he's assigned to protect a high-profile party thrown by the wealthy Zaizen Konzern. The event gets crashed by mysterious spectre robots. During the attack, Zaizen himself is killed, and Ken is fatally wounded along with Zaizen's son Jun. Two other party guests—a race car driver named Ryo Aguri and a wrestler called Go Goda—also take severe injuries. The police surgeons perform emergency operations on the three young men, turning them into cyborgs. Before long, robot forces led by a shadowy group called "Ido" start appearing in Tokyo Bay's floating district. The regular military and police are completely outmatched. That's when Ken, Ryo, and Go show up in mechanical suits as "Armored Police Metal Jacks." Using their transformable armor systems, they tear through the robot army and save the day. This marks the start of an ongoing conflict between high-tech criminals and the Metal Jacks, playing out across the futuristic Tokyo City.
