Synopsis

Tokyo's got all the top horse girls, the ones destined for greatness. But Jou Kitahara, a trainer fresh to the scene with humble goals, doesn't expect to find real talent in the backwater town of Kasamatsu—not until he spots an ash-gray-haired girl with an odd, unconventional running style. Oguri Cap wasn't always built for this. Bad knees plagued her childhood, leaving her in constant pain and barely able to walk. Through sheer stubbornness, she pushed past it all and discovered something unexpected: running became her escape. While the other horse girls around her obsess over trophies and recognition, Oguri runs purely for the feeling of it. No pressure, no ambitions—just movement. Then there's Fujimasa March. She's the regional up-and-comer, sharp and disciplined with the talent to back it up. For her, racing is everything—it's about proving herself. When a school competition puts her head-to-head with Oguri's raw, untrained stride, March's confidence cracks. And something clicks for Oguri too. For the first time, she feels it: the hunger to actually win. It's enough to pull her out of her small town and onto the bigger stages waiting for her.
