Synopsis

Xue Ying comes from the Dong Bo clan in Xue Ying Territory, a quiet and unremarkable lordship tucked away in the Tranquil Sun province. His father climbed from commoner to noble status, while his mother was a noblewoman who gave up her family to be with him. He's got a younger brother too, still just a kid. For a while, life is genuinely peaceful—but that doesn't last. When his world falls apart, Xue Ying realizes that the only way to get back what he's lost is to become strong enough to take it.
