Mayonaka no Occult Koumuin
Arata Miyako gets assigned to the Nocturnal Community Relations Division's Shinjuku branch—a team that deals with the supernatural creatures that normal people never see. He's paired with coworkers Theo Himezuka and Kyouichi Sakaki, and things get weird fast. On his first night, Arata realizes two shocking things: all those monsters he thought were myth are actually real, and he's the only human who can understand what they're saying. It gets stranger when a legendary Tengu mistakes him for Abe no Seimei, a famous exorcist from centuries ago. Arata doesn't think much of it at first, but the supernatural world definitely notices him. As word spreads about his ability to communicate with creatures, Arata becomes increasingly curious about who he really is—especially after he learns there's some kind of connection between himself and Seimei. He throws himself into his cases trying to figure it out. But he quickly learns that working with the occult isn't nearly as straightforward as it seemed. The danger is real, and his mysterious ability starts causing problems he never anticipated.
