Synopsis

After going through the ReLIFE experiment as a high school student, 27-year-old Arata Kaizaki is shocked at how much it's transformed him. He's rediscovered a way of seeing the world that he'd lost somewhere in adulthood, made genuine friends, and built real connections with people. But his handler Ryou Yoake keeps reminding him of the hard truth: it's all temporary. When the experiment ends, everyone will forget him completely. Meanwhile, another ReLIFE participant is facing the same reckoning. Chizuru Hishiro spent two years in the program and became a completely different person—more open, more thoughtful, more herself than she ever thought possible. She's met people who fundamentally changed her life and how she sees things. But now that their time in ReLIFE is ending, can they really just let go of everything they've built together?
