Synopsis

After her best friend Koito commits suicide, Ai Ooto is left with nothing to live for. She's approached by a mysterious entity that convinces her to buy something called a Wonder Egg. When she breaks it in her dreams, she's pulled into a surreal world where she saves people trapped by their own trauma and fears—and she believes each person she rescues brings her closer to saving Koito somehow. It's a dangerous gamble, but Ai throws herself into it anyway. As she descends deeper into this bizarre dream world, she confronts not just other people's demons, but her own past traumas and regrets. Through saving others from their worst nightmares, she gradually uncovers the truth about what's really happening—and what it all means for her.
