Synopsis

Fifty years ago, horrific creatures known as "enemies of humanity" suddenly appeared across the globe. In response, an island academy was established to train teenagers with supernatural abilities called "Talents"—pyrokinesis, time travel, and the like—to fight back. Nanao Nakajima doesn't fit the mold. Unlike everyone else at the academy, he has no Talent at all. That makes him an easy target for the other students, but he keeps training anyway, determined to find his place. Things shift when two transfer students arrive: the enigmatic Kyouya Onodera and Nana Hiiragi, who can read minds. Just as the class starts actually functioning as a real team, people begin vanishing without explanation. And suddenly, everything the group has built starts falling apart.
