It's 2027, and Phantasy Star Online 2 is basically taking over Seiga Academy. Everyone's playing it—well, everyone except Itsuki Tachibana, this well-rounded guy who just isn't into games. Because the game's so popular, the school decides to investigate whether it's actually harmful to students. That's when Rina Izumi, the student council president and a total perfectionist, notices Itsuki. She wants to prove the game isn't the problem, and she's got a plan: recruit him as vice president and have him actually learn to play while keeping his grades intact. So now Itsuki's stuck reporting back to Rina about his daily PSO2 experience, analyzing what's good about it. Basically, whether the game gets banned at school is all on him.
