Synopsis

A civil war erupted in a small Asian country despite UN intervention. Then a chance photograph—a picture of a flag—unexpectedly became a symbol of peace and helped move negotiations forward. But right before the peace deal could be signed, an armed extremist group stole the flag to sabotage the agreement. The UN's response was to send in the Special Development Command, a military unit equipped with the High Agility Versatile Weapon Carrier, along with an embedded photojournalist to document the mission. That photojournalist is Saeko Shirasu—the same camerawoman who originally captured the iconic photograph.
