Synopsis

A thousand years ago during Japan's Heian period, a bored young nobleman named Ojarumaru gets tired of his privileged life. Around the same time, three demons steal the power-stick of Enma, the demon king, but immediately lose it. Ojarumaru discovers the stick and uses it to zap himself into modern day. There he meets a kid named Kazuma, who takes him in as part of his family. As Ojarumaru settles into his new life, he makes tons of friends while constantly dealing with the three demons—Akane, Kisuke, and Aobee—who keep trying to get their stolen stick back. Their recovery attempts are mostly just comedic chaos.
