Synopsis

Ichika's at a CD store when she hears a Miku song she's never come across before. On the display screen, she spots a version of Miku she's never seen—something about it makes her call out without thinking. Miku's startled by her voice, their eyes meet for a moment, and then she vanishes. Fast forward to after one of Ichika's street performances, and Miku shows up on her phone. She looks pretty down, so Ichika asks what's going on. Turns out Miku's struggling to reach certain people with her music—no matter how much she sings, it's just not connecting. But watching Ichika perform and seeing how her songs actually touch people gives Miku an idea: if she can learn from Ichika, maybe she can do the same thing. So Miku comes to Ichika asking for help. Ichika's cool with it, and that's where their story—and everything that comes with it—begins.
