Synopsis

In early-1900s London, Japanese exchange student Lili Ichijouin enrolls at the prestigious Saint Thomas Art Academy with big ambitions—she wants to become a painter, but her parents have given her an ultimatum: excel in her class within six months or come home. That's when she meets Kit Church, a talented aristocratic student who's completely absorbed in his art. Kit's the type who keeps people at arm's length, but Lili's determination and honesty start to get through to him. They don't have much in common except their passion for painting, yet somehow their connection becomes what everyone at the academy is watching.
