Synopsis

In a world where chimeras—humans mixed with animal DNA—live alongside regular people, crime's bound to happen. And when half-animal criminals leave behind evidence that baffles normal cops, that's where detectives like Hiroshi Inaba come in handy. He's part wolf and can extract crucial information just by examining or tasting someone's hair. It's gotten him a bit of a hair obsession, though his assistants don't seem to mind much—especially the cross-dressing one. Inaba's got his hands full with his nemesis, the goat-man crime boss Don Valentino, whose appetite for money far exceeds any normal appetite. Determined to take down Valentino before he can steal any more cash, Inaba's ready to dig through mountains of evidence to finally corner the guy. The question is whether good old-fashioned detective work will be enough to lock up the bad guys for good.
