Synopsis

In the year 220X, humanity's gotten pretty advanced—everyone's connected through something called the Wave Road, which runs on radio waves. That's where Subaru Hoshikawa comes in. He's just a fifth-grader dealing with the fact that his dad died in a space accident. One day he meets War-Rock, an alien being made of radio waves who came from some distant FM planet. War-Rock hints that he knows something about Subaru's dad, but there's a catch: a bunch of other aliens are hunting him down. So Subaru and War-Rock team up by merging together into Rockman, a radio-wave human who can travel the Wave Road and fight off the viruses and hostile FMs trying to destroy Earth.
