Synopsis

After breaking away from their idols' legacy, Aqours is more committed than ever to making their mark as school idols in their own right. Their last performance brought in a handful of new applicants, and they're banking on that momentum to carry them through the upcoming open house and the next Love Live competition. With these events as their platform, the nine girls are determined to give performances that'll draw real attention to their struggling school. But Mari's father isn't swayed. Despite her desperate attempts to change his mind, he makes the official call: Uranohoshi Girls' High School is closing. The open house gets cancelled along with all recruitment efforts. It looks like game over for everyone involved. Except Aqours isn't ready to accept that. Against impossible odds, they keep singing and dancing, clinging to the hope that their performances might somehow pull off a miracle and save their school.
