Synopsis

Shotaro Kaneda is a young boy who inherited Tetsujin 28, a giant robot built by his late scientist father as a defense against potential alien invasions. The robot's only controller—a small attaché case that Shotaro keeps with him—gives him exclusive command over the machine. If that controller ever falls into enemy hands, Tetsujin 28 could be turned against Earth itself. Whenever the world faces a new threat, Shotaro teams up with his allies Dr. Shikishima and Detective Otsuka to activate their mechanical protector and save the day.
