Synopsis

Kasumi Haruno is a fourth grader who comes to Kasumi Town to say goodbye to her zoologist parents before they head off to Africa for research. While they're gone, she'll be staying at the massive Kasumi family mansion, which sits in the middle of town surrounded by forest. As soon as Kasumi arrives, she notices something weird coming from the Kasumi Forest. Then she gets to the mansion and discovers the appliances can talk. Turns out the Kasumi family members are actually youkai called "Henamon"—definitely not what she expected. To pay for her room and board, Kasumi finds herself doing all the cooking, laundry, and cleaning. Living with these strange supernatural roommates, her life is about to get pretty chaotic.
