Synopsis

Eight years after Western technology reached 19th century Japan, the country's filled with mechanical dolls and steam-powered inventions. The Wind Gang—a group of extremists obsessed with dolls and steam tech—decide the way forward is through violence. They want to forcibly usher in a new Industrial Era, so they raid Hiwou's peaceful village and destroy it. Hiwou manages to escape with his friends and a massive doll called Homura. Now he's on a quest to find his father, hoping the old man can help him take down the Wind Gang and restore peace to Japan.
