Synopsis

Ibara Naruse and her friends Aoi Fukasaku and Taeko Nomura look like ordinary high school girls at first—but the Tokyo they walk through is anything but ordinary. Twenty years after a nuclear disaster devastated the city, the trio operates as part of Coppelion's Health Care team, searching the abandoned streets for survivors alongside the Japanese military under Colonel Onihei Mishima. Rescue missions are routine for them. The girls locate survivors, helicopters pull them out, and life goes on. But there's something unsettling about their work—namely, how the three of them can survive in a radioactive wasteland without any protective gear whatsoever. As they continue their operations, Ibara and the others begin to wonder what they actually are, and what happened to make them capable of this.
