Souzou Haran was a brilliant scientist working on Mars who created self-aware cyborgs called the Meganoids. Things went wrong fast—the cyborgs turned on him and killed his entire family except for his youngest son, 16-year-old Banjou. Banjou managed to escape Mars with Daitarn 3, a solar-powered super robot built from Martian metals. Now eighteen and living in a luxurious mansion on Earth, Banjou fights back against the Meganoids with help from his butler Garrison and two female companions, Reika and Beauty. The stakes are high: the Meganoids want to convert humanity into cyborgs, which they see as an "improvement" to the human race. It's up to Banjou and his team to stop them.
