Synopsis

It's the dark century, and monsters controlled by devils called Vandels have plunged the world into suffering. Vandel Busters are hunters who fight back against them, with the Zenon Squad standing out as the continent's strongest. A kid named Beet dreams of joining their ranks. That changes when Beet accidentally causes the squad's defeat at the hands of a powerful Vandel named Beltose. Dying, the five squad members pour their life force into five weapons called Saiga and pass them to Beet before they die. Years later, Beet—now a young Vandel Buster himself—sets out on his quest to finish what Zenon Squad started and end the dark century once and for all.
