Satoshi and his friends keep traveling through Kalos, and after grabbing his seventh gym badge, things get interesting pretty fast. Eureka finds a weird Pokémon hanging out in her bag, which they name Puni-chan. Even Satoshi and Serena's new Pokédex can't identify it. Problem is, this little guy immediately catches the attention of Team Flare—a shady organization in bright red suits who want to capture Puni-chan for their own purposes. When it becomes clear that Team Flare doesn't care about treating the Pokémon well, Satoshi and the group decide they're done sitting on the sidelines and start actively fighting back. Meanwhile, Satoshi's pushing toward his eighth and final gym badge, while Serena's working on her last Princess Key so she can enter the TriPokalon Master Class. But Team Flare's got bigger plans—they're hunting for something called Z, and as their operation heats up, the events of Pokémon XY and Pokémon XY: Mega Evolution start colliding. Before long, Satoshi's crew (and even Team Rocket) get dragged into the chaos, and it turns out Team Flare's scheme could seriously threaten all of Kalos.
