Synopsis

Aki Miyagawa fell in love with traditional Japanese drums as a kid, and that passion stuck with her into adulthood. She's a professional drummer in Tokyo now, but it's a tough gig—she needs a second job just to pay the bills and keep her love for drums from burning out completely. Then Michio Yoshioka calls. He's the teacher who first got her into drumming all those years ago, and his invitation to come back to her hometown gives Aki the chance to reconnect with her roots. The trip turns into something bigger: a chance to look back on everything that brought her here and rediscover why she fell in love with drums in the first place.
