Synopsis

Akari Mamiya is a first-year student at Tokyo Butei High who's obsessed with S-rank Butei Aria Holmes Kanzaki and desperately wants to become just like her. Problem is, Akari's only an E-rank Butei—basically a total rookie—but she's determined to get better anyway. When she hears about the Amica program, a mentorship thing where upperclassmen take on students, she immediately applies to train under Aria. Nobody thinks Aria will actually accept her. Aria's known for being picky about this stuff. But somehow, impossibly, Aria agrees to give Akari a shot through a test—and Akari actually passes it. That said, Aria still won't officially make her an Amica until she proves she can meet her standards. Training under someone as skilled as Aria isn't going to be a walk in the park, especially while trying to keep her friendships intact. The real question is whether Akari has what it takes to follow in her idol's footsteps.
