Synopsis

It's the near future, and insects have evolved to resist every pesticide humanity can throw at them. To deal with the infestation crisis, a Japanese company releases Hoi Hoi-san—cute, doll-sized robots designed to hunt down and kill bugs. A rival company quickly launches their own competitor, Combat-san. Both robots become wildly popular thanks to their adorable designs and quickly gain devoted fans. One night, in the home of a devoted collector, both robots are out doing what they do best: hunting insects. The only problem? Combat-san sees Hoi Hoi-san as fair game too, and isn't shy about trying to destroy her rival while they work.
