Synopsis

Conan is the only child born on Remnant Island, settled by refugees escaping a devastating wave of magnetic bombs that nearly destroyed humanity. Two decades later, only Conan and the old man who raised him have survived. Thinking Remnant Island is all that's left of civilization, Conan is stunned when a girl named Lana washes ashore. She brings news that humanity is still out there—but also a problem. The militaristic nation of Industria is hunting her to use as leverage against her grandfather, Dr. Lao, forcing him to maintain their war machines. Before Conan can fully process this, Industria's ace pilot Monsley shows up and takes Lana by force. Desperate to rescue her, Conan leaves the island for the first time and sets out on a journey that will shape the future of humanity itself.
