Synopsis

Akko, Lotte, and Sucy are on the verge of getting kicked out of Luna Nova Magical Academy after one too many classroom disasters. Their last shot at staying is pulling off the academy's annual parade in a nearby town—except there's a catch. They discover the parade isn't actually meant to celebrate witches; it's basically a chance for townspeople to mock them and remember the days when witches were persecuted. That doesn't sit right with Akko, who decides they're going to flip the script and show everyone what modern witches are actually capable of. The problem is ambitious plans look a lot easier in theory. Lotte and Sucy can barely keep pace with Akko's vision, and that's before factoring in troublemaking boys, an inconveniently awake giant, and every other obstacle that keeps cropping up. Pulling this off will take everything the students of Luna Nova have got—and honestly, probably some luck they don't have.
