Hackers wage constant digital wars for control. Enter Kang Maru, a 14-year-old kid who's basically a god at the RESTOL simulation game thanks to his insane piloting skills. GEONOID, a company dedicated to protecting Earth from natural disasters, recruits him to pilot RESTOL 03, one of only five rescue mechas in existence. Now Maru and his team are out there responding to disasters around the globe, but they've got bigger problems than just saving people—their space-based command station R-SAT keeps getting hacked, forcing them to deal with threats from both Mother Nature and the digital underworld.
