Wadatsumi is a giant tiger blowfish fishman who serves under Vander Decken IX as part of the Flying Pirates. His nickname "Onyudo" translates to "large, bald-headed monster" or simply "giant"—fitting given his enormous size. His actual name draws from Watatsumi, the Japanese sea god, which adds a mythological layer to his character. Interestingly, Usopp once mistakenly called him "Umibōzu" (sea bonze), mixing him up with a different spirit from Japanese folklore.
