Occupation: Professional assassin, part-time foreign language teacher
BWH: 97-60-91
Irina Jelavić is a skilled hit-woman sent to infiltrate Class 3-E and assassinate Korosensei by posing as a foreign language teacher. She's best known for using charm and seduction as her primary weapons—tactics that initially work on Korosensei until he manages to shut down her first coordinated attack, much to her fury. That failure stung her pride enough to fuel a genuine grudge.
As a teacher, she's unconventional. Her lessons focus on using seduction as a language-learning tool, and she has a habit of kissing male students who flub their answers. It's exactly as weird as it sounds, and the class tends to resent her for it.
Irina's got serious credentials as an assassin. She's fluent in ten languages, has completed 11 jobs across the globe, and knows how to infiltrate targets with ease. The problem is she knows it. She's genuinely arrogant—the kind of person who assumes everyone around her should be grateful just to exist in her presence, kids included. Unsurprisingly, this attitude makes her clash hard with Class 3-E, who she initially views as beneath her.
Her students stuck her with the nickname "Bitch-nee-san" (she forbade them from using her first name), later shortened to "Bitch-sensei" once she actually became their teacher. The nickname stuck because of how Japanese pronunciation handles the "v" sound in her last name—Jelavić becomes Jelab-ic/Bitch.
Eventually, though, she comes around. Once she realizes the value of working with her students and understands what they actually mean to the mission, her smugness fades and she grows genuinely more humble.
