A researcher who became obsessed with developing a weapon capable of defeating the Fog. After repeated failures, he hit a breaking point—realizing that the core limitation wasn't technical but biological. Human brains simply couldn't process what the Fog was or how to fight it effectively.
This realization drove him toward a different goal: creating a superhuman being whose mind could operate beyond normal human constraints. The project eventually succeeded in producing Makie Osakabe, though the cost was staggering. Out of 109 test subjects, Makie was the sole survivor.
