Mitsuko Hayase
A former classmate of Michio and Yumiko—and notably the only other survivor from their school days besides those two. She works as a New United Nations agent, though her loyalty gets complicated by lingering attachment to her native island. People have called her a double-crosser, but she'd probably argue she's just an idealist trying to do right by people and find recognition from "that person." Her motivations tend to blur the lines between duty and personal desire.
