Gakushuu Asano is the top student at Kunugigaoka Junior High School and serves as Student Council President. He's one of the Five Virtuosos—the school's elite academic performers—and also happens to be the only son of the Board Chairman, which naturally comes with its own weight. He's in Class 3-A, where most of the story's action takes place.
