Emet
Emet—nicknamed the Iron Giant—is an ancient robot built during the Void Century who counted Joy Boy as a friend. For centuries it lay dormant, but it's reactivated twice: once about 200 years ago when it nearly destroyed Mary Geoise before getting smuggled away, and again in the present day on Egghead Island.
On Egghead, Egghead kept Emet depowered and used it as a vault of sorts, housing Vegapunk's final video message inside its body. When Monkey D. Luffy's Drums of Liberation rang out, though, the robot came back online for real. From there it joined the Straw Hat Pirates in their fight against the Five Elders, proving that even ancient tech can still throw a punch when it matters.
