Meat comes from Planet Kinniku's Churrasco Tribe. His father Mince entrusted him to Mayumi Kinniku of the royal Kinniku clan, and he was sent to Earth on an important mission: track down the lost prince Suguru Kinniku and bring him home. (In the English adaptations, Suguru goes by Kinnikuman or Kinnikuman/Suguru Muscle depending on the version.)
He's instantly recognizable by his glasses and the hiragana characters for "niku" (meat) written on his forehead. Despite being Churrasco Tribe, he bears the Kinniku Clan's distinctive KIN Mark on his chest—a symbol that looks similar to the old JIS Mark.
As Kinnikuman's right-hand man and personal assistant, Meat essentially serves as his eyes and voice of reason. Early on, the two bicker constantly, usually because Kinnikuman's either being a coward or just plain lazy. They've also butted heads over Mari Nikaidou more than once, though Meat's clearly the one with genuine feelings.
He has two older sisters: the attractive Medium Rare and the, uh, less conventionally beautiful Kalbi Liver. His glasses are a critical weak point—without them, he's basically useless. He can also emit a bright light from his forehead mark by pressing his temples.
In the sequel series Kinnikuman Nisei, Meat had himself cryogenically frozen to stay young and serve Kinnikuman's son, Mantaro, calling him "Nisei" (Second). Fans have long shipped Meat with Mari after their reunion, though the series has never confirmed they're actually a couple.
