An 18-year-old oni who works as an assistant to Hime Yarizakura. He's got superhuman strength, though he keeps it in check with a seal bracelet on his left wrist. Kyousuke can come across as pretty harsh with Akina, mostly because he doesn't think Akina's powers are necessary for protecting the town. He blames Akina for failing as oyakume, which he sees as the reason youkai are struggling in the human world. The two constantly bicker—Akina loves to tease him about having a sister complex, which inevitably turns into full-on arguments between them.
