Taiga is the middle child of the Nagatoro family, sandwiched between his older sister Misaki and younger sister Hayase Nagatoro. He's Gamo-chan's love interest and despite his yankī appearance, he's actually laid-back and approachable. He's genuinely close with Nagatoro and protective of her, though he'll tease her just like Misaki does. Most notably, he's the one who taught Nagatoro most of what she knows about martial arts.
In the original webcomic version, his name was Ichirou instead of Taiga.
