A childhood friend of Hiro's, he's best known as the guy who got isolated after taking abuse from classmates and basically locked himself away. He ends up being the first to discover that both Ichirou and Hiro have cyborg bodies—major secret to keep. The interesting part is that while he finds out about them, he actually sides with Ichirou's approach rather than Hiro's more violent methods. In fact, he secretly works with Ichirou to keep Hiro from crossing the line into killing. On a lighter note, he's apparently a fan of the Gantz manga.
