Guccio first appears as a nervous prisoner in the high security ward who's desperately trying to escape after the other inmates are mysteriously drowned and transformed into plants. He begs Jolyne, Anasui, and F.F. for help getting out, but they're immediately suspicious of him. To keep tabs on him—and probably to make sure he doesn't betray them—Anasui plants his Stand, Diver Down, directly into Guccio's body and then points him toward the exit.
