Garcia Ferdinand Lovelace is the only son of Diego Jose San Fernando Lovelace and the current head of the Lovelace family—the twelfth in succession after his father's assassination. He was about 12 or 13 when he first showed up in Roanapur.
A Colombian cartel kidnapped him briefly, and the Lagoon Company transported him as cargo before he and his maid Roberta left the city with help from Hotel Moscow. When he eventually returned to search for Roberta, he'd brought along a new maid named Fabiola and was staying at the Sunken Palace Hotel. By then, he'd noticeably matured emotionally—Rock even commented on how much stronger he'd become.
Garcia treats both Roberta and Fabiola more like family than servants, and they're equally devoted to him in return. While he calls on the Lagoon Company for help and has connections with Chang, Shenhua, Sawyer, and Lotton, Rock is really the only person in Roanapur he actually trusts.
