Corn is one of the three Gym Leaders running Sanyou City's gym, working alongside his brothers Dent and Pod. He challenged Ash early on in the Unova region—specifically as Ash's second gym battle—and notably managed to knock out Pikachu during their match, which was pretty impressive for that stage of the journey.
